Meet Our Ambassadors

Dr. Shaikh Tanveer Hossain Bangladesh Dr. Shaikh Tanveer Hossain is a sustainable agriculture and organic farming expert with over 30 years of experience. As Director of Policy and Strategy for IFOAM-Organics Asia, he promotes nutrient recycling, organic waste and food loss reduction, solid waste management, bio-based inputs, and circular value chains, helping governments embed circular economy principles into agricultural policy. He is also Vice-Chair of Global Landcare, Australia, and a Global Nitrogen Governance Working Group member of iN-Net.

Dr. Sonia Esperanza Reyes Gómez Colombia Dr. Sonia Esperanza Reyes Gómez is a Senior Researcher at the Institute for Training and Research in Plastics and Rubber (ICIPC) and an international leader in sustainable materials and circular economy. She specializes in Life Cycle Assessment, bioplastics, and polymer recycling, bridging academic research with industrial application through cross-sector R&D. As an Ambassador for the Global Circular Economy Awards, she advocates for resource efficiency, material substitution, and zero-waste value chains across global industries.

Hisham Serry Egypt Hisham Serry is an Industrial Manufacturing and Supply Chain Expert with 20+ years of experience across the Middle East and Asia, specializing in operational excellence, Lean execution, and Circular Economy practices. He has led manufacturing setups, oil and gas operations, and ISO quality systems. He now integrates automation and AI to embed circularity into operations — extending asset lifecycles and cutting logistics emissions — driving scalable, cost-effective, sustainable global operations.

Bezawit Eshetu Gizaw Ethiopia Bezawit Eshetu is a Circular Economy Specialist with over 15 years of experience in environmental management, climate solutions, and green growth, working across UN agencies, governments, and the private sector. She helped develop the African Union's Continental Circular Economy Action Plan, SADC's regional strategy, and Ethiopia's National Circular Economy Roadmap, and led the 2025 Ethiopian Circular Economy Hotspot. She serves on advisory panels and juries including the Earthshot Prize, AGYLE, and WDCD.

Harry Li Hong Kong Harry Li is the founder of Asia Circular Economy Association. He started his career of circular economy in 2019 by establishing a company and is a certified consultant of Circulab, an international community specializes in providing training and consulting services for designing and implementing circular business models to organizations. Harry is currently a member of Advisory Group of Business Environment Council and a Fellow of Circular Economy Institute.

Prashant D. Nasery India Prashant D. Nasery is an internationally recognised expert in Innovation Management, Business Excellence, and Circular Economy, with over 40 years of experience across India, the UAE, and the GCC. He held leadership roles at Maruti Suzuki and ADNOC LNG, and served on the Dubai Quality Group Board. A passionate Circular Economy advocate, he has trained India's automotive component industry in ethical procurement, IMDS, Substances of Concern, and Product Carbon Footprint.

Shrikant Wagh India Shrikant Wagh is an Automotive Expert in Engineering, Quality and Circularity with 40+ years of experience across OEM and supplier ecosystems, spanning Product Development, Manufacturing, Supplier and Export Quality, Warranty and QMS. He specializes in End-of-Life Vehicle Management and Automotive Circularity — dismantling, depollution, component recovery, and recycling — and has helped establish multiple Registered Vehicle Scrapping Facilities in India, advancing sustainable mobility and responsible resource recovery.

Shambhu Kumar Karki Nepal Shambhu Kumar Karki is Founder & President of Solu Himalayan Integrated Bio Hub (SHIBH), Nepal, advancing a nature-positive circular bioeconomy across the Himalayas. He works across Himalayan biotechnology, biodiversity, biochar, biomass utilization and climate resilience, turning medicinal and aromatic plants into high-value, science-driven products. He champions carbon and biodiversity finance, digital natural capital accounting, and community enterprises, transforming Nepal's ecological wealth into green jobs, regenerative livelihoods and sustainable development.

Oliver Nachevski North Macedonia As a passionate advocate for the circular economy, Oliver Nachevski actively facilitates high-level dialogues among universities across different countries to advance sustainable development. Through fostering dynamic exchanges of experiences, insights, and best practices on circular economy initiatives, he strives to cultivate international collaboration and spark innovative solutions. Dedicated to bridging the gap between academia and industry, he promotes knowledge sharing and partnership-building that accelerate global efforts in sustainable resource management.

Eva Ianko Romania Eva Ianko is an internationally certified sustainability professional driving ESG integration into business strategy, financial performance, and decision-making through integrated management systems. She specializes in translating regulatory frameworks and ISO standards into operational processes across global supply chains, working at the intersection of compliance, sustainable business models, and circular economy. She champions sustainability as clarity, accountability, and long-term value creation, and circularity as a driver of innovation, resilience, and competitiveness.

Ammar Mansoor United Arab Emirates Ammar Mansoor is a senior Quality, ESG and Sustainability professional with extensive Gulf-region experience in management systems, auditing and consultancy. A PMP and PCQI professional, he brings expertise across ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, ESG and GHG verification, helping organizations strengthen governance, risk management and compliance through practical solutions. An active UNSDG promoter, he helped establish the CQI Network in the UAE, raising quality's voice in the region.

Indrajit Sarkar United Arab Emirates Indrajit Sarkar is lead auditor & trainer for several management system standards as well as sustainability professional, helping organizations strengthen their management systems and integrate circular economy principles into their operations.
His work focuses on resource efficiency, waste reduction, life cycle thinking, environmental performance and continual improvement. Through audits, training and consultancy, he supports businesses in transiting from linear consumption models toward more resilient, responsible and circular approaches.

Jinal Zaveri United Arab Emirates Jinal Zaveri is an award-winning Sustainability Consultant and carbon accounting specialist based in Dubai, holding an MSc in Sustainability, Entrepreneurship and Design (First Class Honours) from Brunel University, London. She served as Assistant Manager and Assessor at the Global Circular Economy Forum & Awards 2026, evaluating organizations on circular economy practices. Through her independent practice, she advises UAE-based organizations on sustainability compliance, GHG accounting, and ESG strategy.

Namrata Dhungana USA Namrata Dhungana is a biotechnology scientist working in a Biotech Company in California, USA. She is also a CEO & Co-Founder of Solu Himalayan Integrated Bio Hub (SHIBH), working at the intersection of biotechnology, natural products research, biodiversity, and circular bioeconomy. She is focused on developing science-driven approaches that create value from Nepal’s biological resources while supporting sustainable development and local communities.
