Any organization, regardless of type, size, sector, or country of origin—including governmental, non-governmental, public, private, and academic institutions, from any industry, that is implementing or promoting the principles of the Circular Economy can participate in the Award.

Yes. Eligible organization is welcome to apply for one or more categories in the same Award cycle.

Yes. Eligible organization is welcome to apply for multiple submissions within a particular category in the same Award cycle.

Standard Fee – AED 10,000 (~USD 2,740)
Fee for Start-Ups, Micro and Small Organizations* – AED 6,500 (~USD 1,780)

*For the purpose of the Award participation, we consider the following criteria for Start-Ups and MSOs:

• Start-Up is a newly established business being in operations for 3 or less years (please note that the trade license will be requested upon registration).
• For Micro and Small Organizations, we request to provide certificate/evidence from the relevant government entity of your country.

Fees include an invitation of 3-5 company representatives to attend the Global Circular Economy Forum & Award Ceremony complimentary (value of USD 612-1,021).

Notes:
• Fees in UAE Dirhams, inclusive of applicable 5% VAT.
• 5% VAT not applicable for companies outside of UAE.
• Prevailing VAT will be applied in case of changes from the current rate of 5%.
• Fees are non-refundable.

Fees to be paid in UAE Dirhams through bank transfer.
Bank account details will be provided in the invoice which will be sent after receipt and acceptance of the Registration form.

Registration for the 3rd Award cycle is open from 1 May 2026 until 31 October 2026.

Assessments will be conducted during month of January 2027. You will be notified about 1 week in advance and planned at a mutually convenient date/ time.

Assessment will be done by competent Assessors in teams of two and may take about 2-3 hours to half a day only. It may be done either remotely or in-person as per need and convenience.
For in-person assessment of the applications received from outside the UAE, lodging, boarding, travel incidental expenses will be charged extra subject to prior agreement with applicant.

You don’t have to make any extra preparations. Based on your submission, Assessors will seek extra information, clarifications if needed, request for sample documents to verify information provided in the submission. Award office will inform you of the likely list of documents Assessors would like to see. Award office will notify you in advance.

Assessment may take about 2-3 hours to half a day only.

Outcome of the assessment will be communicated to the applicant organisations in March 2027.

Yes. Circular Economy Award program is not a competition. It is based on applicant receiving the qualifying scores. Each applicant that achieves the score defined by the Award criteria is recognized and is presented the Award. In one category multiple organizations can be recognised if they meet criteria.

A trophy made of sustainable materials and a certificate of recognition. Organisations recognized can display Award logo on their web site, marketing materials etc. Organizations will be required to apply the logo as per the guidelines provided by Award office.

Award ceremony will be held along with Global Circular Economy Forum – in March 2027.

Global Circular Economy Forum & Award Ceremony will be held in UAE. To select the venue we will give preference to service providers who adopt principles of circularity and sustainable practices.

3-5 representatives per participating organization.

There will be no fee for 3-5 representatives of the Award applicants. For others it is AED 550 (~USD 150) per attendee and AED 275 (~USD 75) per student. Fees are inclusive of 5% VAT.

It is an In-Person event.

No. Recognised organisations cannot display Award logo on their products. However they can display Award logo on their web site, marketing collateral, social media.

Feedback report will be provided soon after Award ceremony latest by April 2027.
